SURF, 6 TO 10 FEET WITH 12 FOOT SETS ALONG ORANGE AND SAN
DIEGO COUNTY BEACHES FROM OCEANSIDE NORTHWARD. LOCAL SURF 5 TO
8 FEET POSSIBLE BETWEEN POINT LOMA AND LA JOLLA.

TIMING, HIGHEST SURF TODAY, LOWERING SLIGHTLY ON
TUESDAY, THEN LOWERING MORE SIGNIFICANTLY WEDNESDAY INTO
THURSDAY.

TIDES, HIGHEST TIDES NEAR 5.8 TO 6 FEET AROUND 9 TO 10 PM
EACH EVENING. LOWEST TIDES NEAR -1 FOOT AROUND 4 TO 5 AM EACH
MORNING.

IMPACTS, THE LARGE SURF AND POWERFUL RIP CURRENTS WILL PRODUCE
EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SWIMMING CONDITIONS. PEOPLE STANDING TOO
CLOSE TO THE WAVES CAN BE SWEPT OFF THEIR FEET AND INJURED.
LARGE WAVES CAN SWEEP PEOPLE OFF OF JETTIES AND WAVES MAY WASH
OVER SEA WALLS. MINOR TO MODERATE BEACH EROSION LIKELY. MINOR
TIDAL FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AREAS, SUCH AS SEAL AND SUNSET
BEACHES, IS POSSIBLE DURING HIGH TIDES.
