6:45 p.m. Griffith Observatory opens to members and their guests. Let's Make A Comet  Your inner fifth-grader can enjoy Let's Make A Comet in the Leonard Nimoy Event Horizon Theater. See one of the presentations our school groups experience each week! Two 35-minute presentation times: 7:15 or 8:15 p.m.    Samuel Oschin Planetarium Winter Sky Tours Listen to one of our astronomers describe the deep dark sky during the Samuel Oschin Planetarium Winter Sky Tours! Three 20-minute presentation times: 7:20, 7:50, or 8:20 p.m.  All Evening: Desserts* and hot beverages served Telescope viewing (weather permitting) No time for dinner? The Café at the End of the Universe will be open with a limited selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches.
